Basic Web Site Information

In order to publish information in the Internet you will need:

1. Web Site (the actual content which may consist of several pages of information, images and links);

2. Registered Domain Name (www.yourcompany.com);

3. Web Host (computer where the Web site is saved);

4. Search Engine Submissions to utilize the Internet's advertising capabilities.

Before beginning your Web site design, some work will be required on your part. Please organize a list of pages you will need in your site. You will need to submit materials via mail or electronic files of your logo, textual content and any existing marketing materials that you would like to base your Web site design on. slpProjects will also request that you review your site at the end of each 10 hours of labor.

Services Provided by slpProjects

slpProjects will provide the following in order to advertise your product in the Internet:

1. Web Site Design (based on the material you provide);
2. Publishing to a Web host server;
3. Search Engine Optimization (includes creation of meta tags, page titles and other elements to increase visibility in the Internet).

NOTE REGARDING SEARCH ENGINES: slpProjects manually submits your site to up to 20 search engines with free listings. Although your site will include the elements which help place sites higher in ranking, there is never a guarantee as listings are usually handled automatically by computerized programs. To improve your site ranking and visibility, you may want to consider a monthly budget to pay for banner ads and listings that will guarantee higher placement.

Web Site Cost

The hourly rate for all Web Site design and maintenance services is $40/hour. A down payment of $400 (10 hours) is required to begin the Web site design. An invoice will be submitted for every 10 hours of work thereafter, or for the total number of hours remaining if less than 10 hours. All domain name registration and Web hosting expenses are the responsibility of COMPANY NAME.

NOTE: The cost of a Web site is determined by the amount of content, graphics, forms and interactive items that are included. slpProjects will estimate the number of hours necessary to complete a functional Web site. Additional hours may be necessary for edits, updates and improvements to the site in order to create the finalized product desired.

Web Host Cost

slpProjects offers an annual Web host package at $200 per year.

All domain name registration and Web hosting expenses are the responsibility of the client.

If you have an existing domain name and Web host with FrontPage Server Extensions installed, slpProjects will publish your Web site to your IP address. In order to publish your site, slpProjects will need your Web host information (company name, login and password).
